Stan Kasten is the President and CEO of the Dodgers. He's the captain of this ship. He's the one that hired Andrew Friedman. He's the one who orchestrated the Nick Punto Trade to give the Dodgers the most expensive club in MLB history. He's the day-to-day decision maker who is guiding this franchise into the future. He's been the mastermind of all the big picture franchise moves since Guggenheim saved us from the McCourts.
He's handed Baseball Operations over to Andrew Friedman, and essentially has given Friedman free reign to do anything he wants to do, but Kasten is still the man at the top of the totem pole. If there's something the Dodgers are into, he's the one with the last* word. That includes the TV channel, Camelback Ranch, Dodger Stadium staff and renovations, etc etc etc.
So, what are your thoughts? Do you like the direction that he's steering this club?
*Obviously Mark Walter is the owner and can fire him, but Kasten is the one actively running the Dodgers every day.
