This was CU's first road win vs. a ranked opponent since 2002.

Buffs fans have every right to be excited about how the season has started.

There hasn't been this much excitement about the team in a long time.

It was a joke. Nebraska is not a great team at this point. I think they are on their way up with a good HC in place, but it will take time. Colorado I think might be a bit overrated right now after beating a TCU team that lost a ton of players from last year's run, but they do at least look like a team that should be competing for a bowl game.

Sanders had himself quite the first game for the Buffs for sure. I always hate making long-term predictions about a player after one game but yeah if he can continue down this path easy to see he could become a 1st round QB either in 2024 or 2025 depending if he chooses to come out. I'm not sure he does choose to come out even if he is told he will be a 1st round QB. Last chance to play for his dad and not like Sanders is hurting for money with NIL deals and his dad being loaded.

IF he continues to play like he is then yeah good chance he is a 1st round QB and 49ers with Shanahan seems like such a great fit. Would hate to see them get him. I'm not a believer in Brock Purdy being a long-term solution for the 49ers so wouldn't surprise me to see them take this type of risk.

I mean I'm good with it as long as it is the Broncos he is going to if we are talking AFC. Going to be an interesting QB class this upcoming draft especially if all of these guys all choose to come out. I still have my doubts that Sanders would make that decision when his dad is his coach right now.

No surprise the Buffs won this one. It's nice to be able to be excited about them again. It's still long season ahead and they have a lot of really good teams on the schedule. But I'm going to enjoy this one, and next week against Colorado State the Buffs should cruise to a pretty big win.

Before the season I figured this to be a 5 or 6 win team. I figured last week's game to be a loss, so right now they're ahead of schedule on what I predicted.
