I really want to see this. Is it good?

It’s a cool concept though, basically taking one chapter from Bram Stoker’s Dracula and turning it into a full movie. Definitely a good horror movie with some good intense and chilling sequences. Dracula looks a little wonky at times but he’s about 95% practical effects with only a few CGI elements to him so it was bound to happen.

I recommend seeing it at some point if you’ve seen the trailer and you’re a fan of that style of cinematography, it definitely has an old-school grimy look to it.

The movie definitely has a feel that reminded me of the original Alien film(not saying it’s as good just in the style).

The Pope's Exorcist on Netflix with Russell Crowe.

Not much horror/gore or scares, but the odd joke here and there was amusing.
Ending was a bit formulaic.
But, the story was really good with historical references.

I liked it.
Solid 7/10.

I just got in from the theater and loved this film The Last Voyage of Detemer. My son loved it as well. Dracula looked amazing. Plenty of jump scares for me. The gore was good. Now I'm looking forward to a sequel. Gotta have one with the ending.

I can relate to this... I never understood why the Ring was so scary. If some chick comes crawling out of my TV, ruining it and spilling water all over my nice hardwood, she's taking it up the ass.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much.

But, the backstory has some meat on the bone.
Especially the way they tied in this historical event being the result of an actual possession.
Clever.

Then they ran out of good material and had to wrap it all up quickly.
