Chris Welsh was saying on the TV broadcast that sometimes a pitcher just doesn't have his stuff. I agree except ... I haven't YET seen a pitcher from the other team who can't go through this lineup once without giving up more than 1 hit.

WTF did Cozart plan to do on the first pitch?

Well, Choo went 3-2, Votto went 3-2 ... so how do we KNOW if the other pitcher has his stuff?

We don't.

Homer didn't have great command and/or results. I actually think Homer did a pretty good job keeping his composure and working it out. A couple of years ago he would have melted down in the 1st inning. Sometimes it's a grind, and I commend Homer for being a sweaty guy working ugly and under appreciated, instead of quitting or screaming at the umpire like a prima Donna. He's matured.
