Made a big pot of home made noodle soup as well as the homemade noodles. Started it about 9 this morning and let the soup simmer most of the day. Added the noodles about ten minutes before dinner time. Still have enough for a couple of lunches

My chili is always thick without corn starch or flour. Not like Hormel in the can thick, but pretty damn thick. Large tomato, onion and pepper chunks, course ground beef and chili beans. Lots of clackers and shredded cheddar.

Fucking love chili in the winter. Come home from a good day of ice fishing and pour a piping hot bowl of chili and put a shit ton of cheese in it.....

These past 2 years I've started to put corn chips in the bottom of my bowl and then sprinkle shredded cheese over top of them........then pour the chili over that and let it sit for about 4 mins....

Sumbitch........it's good

My mom makes the best ham and bean soup that I've ever had in my life as well......

I mean, it ranks up there with the best food I've ever eaten. But the chili in the winter is just too hard to beat.

I've always enjoyed curry in my soup.
