Went to work early, so I could go home early. Now road closed due to snow. Hoping it will open by 2 today. 1/3 staff not coming in.
I work in San Juan Capistrano 10 miles up the Ortega hwy.
most of the no shows live in Lake Elsinore. The 15 freeway was closed this morning as well

Yeah, it was pretty crazy turning on the news and seeing snow in Corona, that is only 15 miles from us. Damn cold here in Yorba Linda, for CA standards anyway.

Happy New Year to all as well, be safe and enjoy the evening. It's Pucky Jr. II's birthday today so for the decade or so we won't have any NYE plans.

Back at ya all. If you go out drive sober. I went golfing this morning and saw 2 CHPs on the highway already at 7:00 am. For me it'll be the same as it's been for about 10 years or more now. The wife and I will toast in the New Year with a glass of champagne here in our living room then go to bed. Thinking seriously of doing the toast on east coast time this year too. I'm sure I'll be able to find the ball drop live on one of these 300+ channels I have.

Prescott has 6 inches of snow on the ground now with another 6 to 10 in the next 24 hours. Good thing i'm off tomorrow. However it is hell on trying to get home now.
