Need a new beer tonight! Mariners are on playing the A's, Felix is pitching. Bought steaks and corn on the cob for barbecue,wife and kids are out of town, computer set for incognito, need a good growler choice.....been drinking mac n jacks for 12 weeks straight. Store by my house has huge selection, any suggestions?

Get the Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA. That stuff will rip you up.

If you have your heart set on a local beer you can't go wrong with Diamond Knot. They're a small brewery in Mukilteo I believe. They do nice work.

Glad you enjoyed it! That's definitely not an everyday beer but every once in a while it's a nice treat.

You certainly pay for it though. Both in dollars and in hangover.

You're missing the best beer on that list: Boneyard RPM. The Fort George Vortex is good too but Boneyard is making some of the best IPAs in the NW. They're Double IPA Hop Venom is amazing too.

Surly is good, but come on. You're talking about the West Coast here. Mecca of IPAs. Furious would be an average shelf IPA out here.

You can probably buy a 30 pack of Budweiser for the same price as a 6 pack of those snob beers. And from my experience, Budweiser tastes a lot better than any expensive beer.

i love a good IPA. heck, i think i love bad IPAs.

what the heck is "irish death", by iron horse? never heard of most of the brewers on this list. guess you aren't anywhere near me.
