Nationals are currently 10-3, second best record in the majors. It's early in the year, but if this pitching staff stays healthy, this team will be fun to watch for the whole season.
Here's some stats to show how ridiculously they are pitching right now (Lead the league in all these categories):
-Team ERA: 1.92 (Philly is second with 2.48)
-Opponents batting average: .191
-121 Ks over 122 innings
-Highest average fastball velocity by a starting rotation. I don't have the exact number, but it's highest ever since they've started keeping track of the stat in 2002.
Still very early in the year, but this is the first time as a Nationals fan where I haven't written off the season before May. They've also been winning without the help of Morse or Storen.
