A guy I work with has a Glock .40 that I really like. It's really got me thinking about getting one at some point. May be a minute though, my wife would kill me if came home with another gun right now.

I like my Glocks. And I believe they did some of the testing on these back in the 80's in Camp Gruber In Oklahoma.

Huge Glock fan.

I have a Glock 17 with over 10,000 rounds run through it with virtually no parts needing to be replaced.

Favorite carry gun right now is my little 26.

I'm really considering getting 26. Looked at a tan one the other day that I really liked. It wants to live at my house.

I say go for it. Only thing is that if you want to carry it with an IWB holster it is a little thick (all Glocks are). I usually carry it in a high rise canted holster just behind my hip.
You can also get some replacement floor plates for the mags to give a little extra grip surface and the checkering matches the handle. Did that for all but one of my mags.

I was a little concerned about the thickness since I prefer IWB. Right now I carry a Kel Tec PF9 IWB in a Kholster, can't even tell it's there. I still think I'm going to get it though, I really like my PF9 but I figure it couldn't hurt to have options with what I carry on a particular day.

There's just something about them Glocks that really turns me off to them. I think they are way to thick and rattle too much. Some of my buddies swear by them, but I'll stick with my Rugers.

The profile on your PF9 is definitely slimmer. I have a couple IWB holsters for my 26, but they just don't feel that comfortable to me. I have been told by more than a few people to try the Crossbreed brand IWB holsters.

I've heard the Crossbreeds are really good. My Kholster is essentially the same thing just cheaper and with Kholster you can modify the leather without it voiding your warranty. I would recommend either.

I went with the Little Moon and cut the top to fit my body shape.

Awesome, way less expensive. I don't think I've ever heard of those. May have to give that a go.

Do you have the full or crescent moon?

Do you have the full or crescent moon?

It's a full but it's a smaller diameter than the actual Full Moon or the Crescent. The top was what bothered me but after trimming the top some it's perfect for all day wear with my PF9. I wear it from around 8am til 7-8pm everyday with no issues (aside from it being a little squeaky where the clips rub the leather when it was new, which has gotten much better the more it's breaking in.)

Well to each their own but my main carry gun is a Glock 19. You pull the trigger and it always goes boom. Good enough for like 80% of cops to use good enough for me.

I love the mid frame Glocks. I just want a smaller imprint when I'm out with the family, especially in the summer with thinner layers of clothing. I usually carry one of my 23s during the fall and winter. I'm with ya there.

Those tests are impressive. Wife and I thinking about getting a gun, but that might be too big for her.

Trust me, its not. My Wife regularly shoots all my stuff. She prefers the mid frame sizes.... especially the Glock 23 (which is .40 caliber).
