“There’s really no explanation for that. It’s the third or fourth time it’s happened this year. Good teams don’t do that. That’s something we’re going to need to fix.

“It seems to happen to us. We just go to sleep for five minutes and they popped three on us. It’s hard to come back there. I wish we could do those 20 minutes over again.


“We just stopped playing. We’ve done that four or five times this year. I don’t know why. We go to sleep for five to 10 minutes. You can’t do that in this league. You’re going to lose every night in this league if you do that.”

That could just abut some up the season.

Hey Logan, there is an explanation for the blown third period leads and the team not showing up for five to ten minutes during games. The veteran "leaders" on the team don't have the necessary heart, will, toughness, and character to get the job done on a consistent basis. If you had been around to see the teams in the days of Constantine or Sutter, you would have seen less talent but more grit, guts, leadership, and a greater will/motivation to WIN, unlike what you have seen from the talent-laden, underachieving, choking losers on the current roster.
