Honestly guys, I know on the surface this sounds crazy, but I'm a little disappointed. I think this is more about how shitty UNLV is on both sides of the ball, rather than how well we've played. Their offense was so terrible. And so was their defense. I give us credit for capitalizing, but we've had such great field position, and not done as well as we should have. 81 yards in the air? That's fucking garbage against this team. A lot of this is on the coaching, for not trying to exploit their defense. Carey did well, but it really is to be expected against such a mediocre defense.

They should have used the 2nd half to work on the air attack. I'm not happy with 6 second half points.

So far so good ........ not sure Denker will remain our starting QB if he keeps throwing for such a low completion percentage. I know he's a freshman, but I'd consider giving Anu Solomon a look next week vs UTSA.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention USC's abysmal home loss to Washington State. I like our chances of getting a dubya at the Coliseum this year !

The table is set for the Cats to be ranked. Take care of UTSA and then we have UW. Assuming they beat Illinois, they will be pretty highly ranked. If we beat them, no way we aren't in the Top 25 after that. BEAR DOWN!
