Nice win as Minn has been playing very well under the new coach and considering the first game back from a road trip is usually the worst ill take the two points and run. I cant figure out why we have to give up goals in the last 30 seconds for years now. Nice save Neuvy and probably the years best.

Another slow start, but a nice rally, especially in the third period. Neuvy really bounced back from that giveaway in Carolina and completely redeemed himself (and then some). MacDonald also saved a goal obviously.

We can't continue to wait until about 5 minutes are remaining in the 1st to start playing though. That was when Schenn, Gagner and Simmonds started to dominate. They then scored on what was likely their very next shift.

Either way, that's a big win over a desperate team that had spanked their last three opponents on the road.

Suddenly this group looks a lot more like a playoff team (yes, even to Cobie) when guys who have slumped all season long start scoring. Gagner, Streit and Bellemare are three of the last guys most anyone would've picked to score for us in this one.
