Frikin Rinaldo is the closest thing to thug hockey the NHL has these days. Was seeing a **** star when he was with the Flyers. Complete garbage chump from the sleazebag side of life and should be banned from any further involvement in the NHL.

It's a dirty, illegal hit. He clearly leaves his feet before contact and targets the head, plus Couturier was already engaged with another player. I expect him to be suspended multiple games.

It is so fitting that Giroux scores a critical goal in the 3rd while we were still lifeless and then the game winner in OT as he was clearly to blame for a couple of goals against earlier.

The second period was so terrible that I debated not even watching the third, which is saying a lot for me. To not have a single shot and then give up a goal while on a full five minute power play is absolutely embarrassing. Also, why leave Giroux in the penalty box when you were clearly lost without him? Go offsides (for a whistle) after two minutes and bring him back for the final three minutes. The way we handled it is a complete joke.

It's worth mentioning that Mason looked shaky in giving up two soft goals, but then settled in nicely.

Finally, it was very evident in the 3rd period that the Bruins just aren't the same team that they've been in the recent past. They absolutely choked the game away, which is very unlike that team, especially on home ice with a two goal lead. I am still in a bit of disbelief that we walked away with two points from this one.

1) I never thought of that but that's a good point - and even if you take G out of the equation, do something to stop play and regroup

2) After we tied it, I would have been thrilled with one point but getting two is huge - now hopefully all the guy who left the game and who have been out will be healthy going forward

that being said, going shot less on a 5 minute power player and giving up a shorty is inexcusable. If that doesn't shock the 1st unit in to life I don't know what will. You have to think is like a punch in the face to the players too. I think their only PP after that was the one in OT that they scored on, so.. 1/1 since the debacle?

I remember saying that Giroux or Voracek would've roofed it just under the bar if they had the opportunity Raffl had I believe late in the Dallas game to tie it.

Well...the goal by G in the third last night to rally the troops was from about the exact same spot and look what he did with it. Right where momma keeps the cookies. Rask had no chance and that was the most important goal of the game, to me.

What I really love is that expression on the face of Claude after he scores an enormous goal and you can clearly see him mouth "Let's fuckin' go!!" He exudes passion and intensity and the rest of the team feeds off of that.

Of course, I'm in front of the tv set screaming "Fucking A right!!" with the same energy and enthusiasm.

Lets not forget Gee put Chara on his ass multiple times this game while also battling that little tool Marchand. It must've felt good to stick it in Marchands face after scoring the game winner. Very little said on here about Raffl but 7 hits in the game tonight.

I was saying to myself last night when we were peppering shots on goal that I wish we had a sniper. A short while later Gagner and Simmonds come up with two huge snipes.

Huge win a loss of both games would've been bad.

Gagner has quickly become an offensive force that we can't operate without. The only way he doesn't dress is if he's not healthy. Really, really nice to see Simmonds get that goal, and a pretty one too. These two are leading the way in the area of secondary scoring for this team. And if they aren't, they should be.
