No, now he can just be Schenn, which may be better for both of them.

This is an enormous game against a team that we've actually struggled against lately. We are 8 points back of them, but have two games in hand. This is a massive opportunity to quickly be within striking distance of a top three seed in the division.

Incredible what multiple competent lines can do to change this team for the better. Guys are starting to roll

Schenn, Cooter and Raffl have had all kinds of chemistry. Playing up to their size along the boards. All three moving their feet. Could it be there is finally a complimentary line in Philly? Now we need G to get rolling again.

Not sure that the scrap by Manning was really needed. He has had a good game and it good to see him skating and playing well again

One of the best efforts of the season by them, especially after coming home late from the last game and then playing a day game

They needed a real good week of hockey after how they played on the West Coast and they played well - they have to continue it though - inconsistent play won't get them anywhere

Good game. All three periods, all three zones.
Islanders did a lot of work to keep G off the board, and they did. They didn't stop Cooter and the rest.
Mason was not overly busy but he had some good saves.
The PP is very different without Ghost. Steit just doesn't have the spring along the blue line getting off passes and shots. He is good, but it just seems that Ghost is more aggressive.
MDZ has really raised his game. Very impressed with his play even on the coast. He is eating minutes and playing a good contained game.
Theory: The trade has lifted a lot of psychic baggage from the dressing room. Vinny has been a good soldier but it has to have been wearing on the players. Knowing that it was settled could very much be a case of addition through subtraction. Moving Luke Schenn also seems to have opened up Brayden Schenn. He has had more jump and confidence in the two games.
