Last game for the Patriots in the year 2023.

Bills have struggled to win over the past eight weeks and barely beat the Chargers 24-22 in Los Angeles on 12/23.

That win jumped them to the #6 spot in the playoff chase. A loss to Patriots could kill their season.

Will BB be house hunting??

Bills better be praying for warm weather.

Last thing needed was a Patriots team that got a massive pump of adrenaline. If the OL can give Zappe one extra half second and the defense plays like they did in Denver, The Bills could be on the outside looking in in 2024.

This could be what will be called the Buffalo Nightmare of 2023.

Weather forecast is sunny in the mid 30s.

30% Chance of mixed snow and rain.

Bills will be looking for payback from the upset earlier this season.

Patriots are looking to celebrate the New Year on a positive note.

We have so many replacements playing and not to mention the "walking wounded"
It would be very difficult to beat Buffalo in this game but stranger things have happened.....

And this is exactly why the Bills have to be worried.

Those replacements are trying to make enough plays to get a second notice.

Austin, Uche, Jennings, Reagor, Wade, Wilson. They're all playing 40-50 snaps and making the most of it.

TT even had a great catch and run last night.

Patriots have become a scary team because they're all playing for their 2024 paycheck and have nothing to lose.

Don't know why my tablet doesn't allow changing the color but this is meant to be green.

Can you confirm you are referencing Fahrenheit and not Celsius?

Bills have been playing really well of late. I think the Bills take this one

I feel that way too. They really need this win so they're going to have to be playing their absolute best.

If the Pats somehow beat them then they don't belong in the playoffs.

A couple of things.

Diggs is pissed off about something and hasn't been playing full shifts for the past three games.

Josh has been throwing more to Gabe Davis even when Diggs is on the firld and has actually thrown more to Skiier

Cook has been running the ball more and has also been catching more passes.

If McDermott continues to keep Diggs on the sideline (doghouse??) in this week's game, it' a big advantage for the Patriots' secondary.

Patriots have a bit of adrenalin from the last second comeback against the Bronco.

I think that this game is going to be a nailbiter and the team with the ball last will win by a FG.

One or the other grabbing granite with their fingernails. 20-17

First and above, only shitty teams quit and tank. That is bad for all involved. It looks like they are trying to build a team. We are spoiled as fans. Give it a breather … never thought it was going to be 5-year. That’s long time suck.

And then you have teams like KC whining about bad receivers and disco music.

Whether anyone wants to accept it or not................................

Bill Belichick, the GM, has never had a "LongTerm Plan", Bill always plans for today. He has never looked beyond the next opponent.
When the season ends, he has always looked at now. With TB12 steering the ship, he was able navigate through multiple bad drafts and make up for it by grabbing leftovers on Day 4 of free agency.

That kind of planning doesn't work when your team is bad. You have to have a plan and stay on course. Bill is not that kind of GM. He tries to plug the holes that he is most comfortable plugging and ignores the ones tht give him the most angst. Three years ago a gift fell to him at #15. Everyone in the football world thought that the Gods had smiled on BB and he was on his way to ring #7. Again, the short term pln seemed to be great as the Patriots finished 10-7 and made the playoffs, only to get crucified by the Bills.

Then came the nightmares. Bill turned the offene over to two old buddies and we watched as he poured gas on a roaring fire. He got rid of Matt Patricia who is now turning the Eagles defense into a stone wall. Bringing back Bill Obrien was going to turn around an offense that had flamed out. Problem again was that BB could not plan for the future and did nothing to save the worst offense in Patriots' history. The offense and the QB got worse.

So........as we watch BB standing on the sideline every game writing copious volumes of notes on endless file cards, play photos and toilet paper, it makes one wonder if he's updating his resume, writing his fourth book or trying to look like he knows something that will chnge the course of human history. He sure hasn't been coaching the team on the field.

Which brings us to today. The Patriots have two games remaining. This Sunday should tell us if the present team has enough pieces to meld into a playoff contender or if the coaching staff has the wherewithal to push these players beyond themselves and play 60 minutes of mistake free, quality NFL football. Or do none of them have a plan and are hoping that BB will tke them with him wherever he lands.

Final thought. Every year the media starts to look at the next bunch of heroes. Everything leads up to the Heisman Trophy. 98% of the media had bestowed the prize in 2023 on to Marvin Harrion Jr or Caleb Williams. They were all a bit tunned when Jayden Daniels was called forward.
Today, those same experts are saying that Williams, Maye and Daniels are the next Manning, Marino and Elway.

What if Bo Nix is the next TB12? Will those experts be stepping forward and saying, "I was totally wrong." Nope, next year they will be selling another group of young studs and we all will buy into it hook, line and sinker. Then again, Bill Belichick is known for paddling his canoe in a completely different direction. Won't matter where he's at in 2024, Everyone will start out saying that BB is plying Chess while everyone ele is plying checkers. Q to R4. You're move Bill.

Long term plan. Well 20 years of success and six SBs seems pretty long term to me

Bill Belichick, the GM, has never had a "LongTerm Plan", Bill always plans for today.
Bill made plans for each of the 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 seasons.
The plan for 2002 did not work. Was he an idiot? or did his O-line get old?
He fixed the problem with a new plan for 2003 and 2004.
Was he now a genius? or was he the idiot whose plan did not work for 2005?
