Former Pirates

Some former Pirates have re-surfaced in the majors this year: Xavier Nady, Nyjer Morgan, Joe Beimel, Evan Meek. Also, Jesse Chavez is in the Blue Jays rotation.

I'm in a fantasy baseball league where I can only draft players who have played for the Pirates, so I probably notice this more than others.

Daniel McCutchen is on the Rangers.

But yeah Chavez in the Jays Rotation that is crazy. He didn't pitch that bad in Oakland last year but that was all bullpen work.

Yeah, was looking at his stats. He fits well out there, he could always strike guys out but the amount of HR's he gave up in Pittsburgh just wasn't acceptable. For whatever reason Oakland thrives off garbage heap fly ball pitchers.
