The Lakers are going to be a very interesting team to watch this coming season. They will either be very surprising or a nightmare. I'm leaning toward this team surprising a lot of people. At least I hope that's how it plays out.

Not sure how a guy with two years where she shot .286 FG could be something in a D'antoni offense. if he's not making shots, Williams will certainly ride the bench for a long long time.
Kobe is a wreckless shooter who gets results with volume. At least he shot .450 in his career as wing player. Williams is a career .400 FG player. Hopefully the Lakers sign Shawne to a non-guaranteed. That way when LO gets out of rehap, they can cut Williams.

Shawne is a camp invite with maybe a partial guarantee, nothing more. The Lakers need bodies to fill out the camp roster, thus the more recent rumor of Xavier Henry. They may kick the tires on Beasley as well, but he actually has the talent to get a guaranteed contract (if he can allow some common sense into his thick skull).

Williams had his best season in NY under D'Antoni. He shot 40% from deep. I think he has a chance to make the team.

I believe so to...I think Gasol will be a bigger impact at Center....Howard was horrible on the offensive end :L

Howard still can't shoot a free-throw consistently to save his life. Good riddance!!!
