Growing up as a kid in the 60's and early 70's and being a fan of Sci Fi and Horror and Adventure, I naturally gravitated towards shows such as:

-Time Tunnel

-Land of the Giants

-Green Hornet (Bruce Lee was da man)

-Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

-One Step Beyond

-The Outer Limits

-Night Gallery

-Space 1999

-Thunderbirds (marionette puppets)

-Kolchak: The Night Stalker

-Wild Wild West

-The Avengers

-Kung Fu

-Rat Patrol

-Speed Racer (anime)

-Kimba the White Lion (anime)

-Where's Huddles (animated Summer replacement prime time football series)

-Green Acres

-Petticoat Junction

-The Magician

-Mannix

-The FBI

-Adam 12

-The Courtship of Eddie's Father

-The Flying Nun

-Emergency

-Police Story

-My Favorite Martian

Here's several more...but these are not forgotton...they're very well known:

-Lost in Space

-Batman

-The Brady Bunch

-Star Trek

-Twilight Zone

-The Six Million Dollar Man

-Dragnet

-Hawaii Five-0

-Mission Impossible

-Battlestar Gallactica

-Gilligans's Island

-The Three Stooges

-1960's Marvel animated shows (Spiderman, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America)

-NBC Sunday Mystery (Columbo, McCloud, McMillan & Wife)

Man...even though there were only a handful of TV stations, there were some pretty darn good programs back in the 60's and 70's!

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the Addams Family. I thought Gomez Addams was great. I agree with the Avengers (Emma Peel was the hottest thing ever). And Bill Cosby playing a serious role in I Spy was great to see.

The Waltons, not the last few years of it though.
Alias Smith and Jones, was good until they replaced the guy that killed himself.
Happy Days, loved that show.
Streets of San Francisco, always watched it.
Stargate SG1, never enough science fiction on TV.

Probably my all time favorite show and I agree after John Boy left and Grandpa died it just wasn't the same.

Some for me would include.

Hill Street Blues
Wonder Years
Love Boat
Simon & Simon
Golden Girls

Nascar Addict

WKRP was AWESOME!

Johnny Fever was my hero. And Bailey Quaters was a hottie back in the day.

Reading through everyone's responses really brings back some memories and makes me realize that I've always watched too much TV. I miss a lot of what everyone else misses. The only one I could think of to add that I didn't already see is Tales From The Crypt. More recently I really miss Life On Mars, The Good Guys and most of all Dexter.

Just thought of one I really loved as a kid and most never heard of it: Tales of the Gold Monkey

The series is out on DVD now and it's great.

Just thought of another one I liked from the 80's, Gimme a Break, huge crush on the youngest daughter.
