Just call the box office and speak in a southern drawl, that should fool them.

Florida is not "the South". Miami sure as hell is not "the South"

Says my wife from Georgia.

Yeah, Florida might have the 2nd most Waffle Houses in the US (Georgia leads the way), but look at the number of Waffle House per capita and it tells a different story...

Scattered smothered and covered. If that dont kill ya, nothing will. Funny, I have never had a waffle there.

During the pandemic, a closed Waffle House was my sign the end was near. Heck, some still arent back to 24/7. I dont know where young kids go to sober up, errrrrrrr, get something to eat at 3 am.

Says my wife from Georgia.

Your wife is correct. In Florida you don't reach the south until you're north of I-4

I might be mis-remembering like Roger Clemens, but wasn't there another Detroit fan (soggybottom666) that was in the Tampa area that used to post on this board :noidea:
Was Tundo this board or the one which shall not be named board?

As always, she is correct. Texas is most assuredly not The South.

Says my wife from Georgia.

(Apparently The South is: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and maybe the Carolinas and parts of Tennessee. Basically anywhere Granny Clampett would get an A in Confederate History).

Oh I agree at this point. I've come to realize Texas is it's own thing.

I would like to know her thoughts on Southern Maryland. Because some of my family lives there and they are convinced they are the south.

The same can be said for all of WV and the parts of PA that are not Pittsburgh and Philly.
