I hope she had a good time and caught some fish. I am taking 25 cub scouts fishing on May 4th. Hopefully the weather warms up soon and the Blue gills will come in closer to shore.

At the pond I am taking them to the blue gills have not been around and I need them to be. It will suck having 25 bored scouts on my hands........

we've been catching them on the bottom with worms lately. They aren't biting the crickets very well just yet.

yeah I am not sure where they are. I have tried all around this pond and have not caught one for the last couple of weeks.

This pond is an old rock quarry that is very deep with very few shallow areas. I am guessing that it is still too cold for them and they are not very active.
