This is what happens when a team is able to string some hits together. Capitalize on mistakes like a HBP and a walk and this is what you get.

Hunter has been struggling since July... I wonder why. I was thinking "is this another case of L/R splits?"... only to notice that two of the three hits were from righties.

See, that's why you should always have someone warming up in the bullpen in late innings... because anyone could have a bad day.

It is a wonder. Last year the Oriole BP was a stone wall. They didn't give up runs. That's why the O's won so many one run games, and so many extra inning games last year.

This year, the BP is average. Not terrible, but only average. Now I understand it was likely they couldn't repeat last years performance, but why such a drastic difference.

I was actually referring to today's performance specifically. Usually, games blown by the bullpen involve one pitcher having a bad day-- but in today's game, we've had 3 relievers being charged with earned runs.
