If O' Days giving up a HR to Eaton on the first pitch you know it's just not meant to be. He doesn't seem to do as well in tied/bottom 9 situations.

Given the benefit of hindsight... should have put in McFarland earlier. If you're going to lose, might as well save the better relievers for the next game. :rollseyes:

I mean I can see why they brought a usually reliable O'Day in there to keep it tied and then hopefully score and go to Johnson, but the karma just wasn't there.:rollseyes:

Since the bullpen as a whole was struggling yesterday, the most likely result in that scenario is losing in the bottom of the 10th due to Johnson giving up a walk-off homer. And for extra insult, it would probably be a grand slam.
