I hope the Angels re-sign him and find out the next day he needs Tommy John. :hope:

So you are hoping a player has a possible career ending injury.

Excellent.

Looks like Ervin pulled a fast one; Morosi is reporting he is willing to wait days to sign with a team. Better bet that a 3rd, 4th, and 5th team will offer him a 1 year contract.

Just about as predicted...

6:26pm: Santanta continues to consider offers from the Orioles and the Jays, ESPN's Enrique Rojas [ame=""]tweets[/ame], noting that two other clubs had expressed interest this afternoon (Spanish link).

Yep, and Boras isn't even involved in this. I wonder how much money he will eventually end up with?

$14 seems a bit high for Santana, no thanks

[ame=""]1500ESPN.com's Darren Wolfson[/ame] tweets he's been told Santana isn't coming to Twins with the hangup being length of contract (Santana wants one year and the Twins want three years).

Not really, if 1 WAR is theoretically 6 WAR with the 25 M influx from TV contracts like it appears to be, it is below market value from his 2013 season where he posted a 3.0 fWAR.

I'm finding WAR is a little bit trickier when it comes to pitchers. Great metric for position players though.
