Tatum looks like a star in the making.

If the draft was re-done today Mitchell goes #1 but Tatum without a doubt goes #2. He honestly looks like he will be a better version of Paul George...shit he might ALREADY be. lol.

The Celtics played great in that series. They gave the Cavs some serious matchup issues.

As i said earlier- this Celts team was basically a better version of the Pacers---- so many long, rangy athletes that can make plays. The Cavs do not match up well against teams like that

Rozier, Brown, Smart, Tatum, Morris--- all guys that can guard...all guys that play with total effort and no ego....all guys that can switch the PnR......all guys that can create off the dribble....

guys like Korver and Smith struggle against them- the Cavs spot up shooting- which is a HUGE part of their offense cant get off the ground when you have well disciplined, hard worker, great athletes like that

The Celtics were just totally lacking in a bonafide crunch time scorer or two and they have 2 great ones coming back next year.

Cavs better make a move or two in the offseason and continue to get better internally.

There's even a thread about it.

The new Brady vs Manning debate.

I can't believe this was even a thing either. As great as Manning was, the playoffs were his kryptonite. Lol at losing to the Chargers.

A lot of the recent greats were assholes. It's not that uncommon.

MJ
Kobe
James

Magic and Bird were rarities.

Exactly. I would think a big % of all time great athletes were assholes @ time or another.

how can anyone disrespect what King James did in this series. He overcame adversity and turned a rag tag team of scallywags into Eastern conference champs. All on his shoulders. His old ass shoulders playing 48 minutes, 46 minutes, every minute, all star minutes, GOAT minutes.

nah. just mostly like seeing his dick riders around here crash and burn...

you should've seen ths place after LeClown got the title in 2016. AND all the crazy spins put on it...
crash and burn? 4 straight title appearances? lol

you gotta look a little closer to home for a TRUE trainwreck. lol.

8 in a row to the Finals. That is likely never to be done again.

You are WITNESSING true true greatness. better than Kobe. better than Magic.....only rival is His Airness.

and LeBron, still the best in the league at 33 (no one could POSSIBLY say different right?) has plenty of time to keep adding to his resume.

Love showed up for 2 games of this series. The Celts did a great job on him and then hurt him.

LeBron really did drag this team to the Finals....some of the role players stepped up here and there- but none of them had a game dominant game that was the reason the Cavs won....though Jeff Greens 19 and 8 last night was incredibly needed and Thompsons 10 and 9 with just great defense was big too.

But what LeBron did getting the Cavs to a 4th straight Finals was truly amazing.

when he retires there will be a hole in the league for a while just like when MJ retired.
