That guy is a bit over the top zeke and Philly gave up less picks than we did.

Philly gave up less picks than we did.

And got less picks in return.

To me it's pretty equal SJ when we consider the Rams' traded #15 to move up to #1 and the Eagles traded #8 to move up to #2.

Rams gave up 2-1's, 2-2's & 2-3 to get the Titans #1 overall, #4 & #6.
Eagles gave up 2-1's, 1-2, 1-3 & 1-4 to get the Browns #2 overall, & #4.

So the Rams gave up 6 & get 3.
The Eagles give up 5 & get 2.

So the net difference in picks given up for both teams is 3.

Both gave up to much but it is what the nature of having to draft a top rated QB. We can debate if they are but that is what experts think. Unless we went through one or two 2-14 or 3-13 seasons, it was going to cost us and by that time our defense is gone. Then you draft a QB to start a new stadium season. I don't like what happened but understand I think what the thought was. Just draft the right one of course and there is no clear #1 from anyone. It comes down to starting Goff day 1 or Case for a few games prior to Wentz. It is very hard to think that a #1 pick sits anytime so if it is Wentz might as well get him the reps quick and hope the O-line is better.

Unfortunately, if they did that it would guarantee a few starts for Sanchize. Not sure Elway wants that to be more than an emergency option.

Denver should steal Fitz IMO. The Jets are stupid to play hardball with him; just get a deal done. Why mess with a team on the rise?

I was thinking the other day how different (and better) things could've been had the Rams kept Fitz and never drafted Bradford.
