I don't think the contract is as bad as people think. Only guaranteed part of it is 2021. You could trade for him and basically get a 1 year rental out of him.

Eagles would have to take a pretty sizable dead hit to trade him though.

Considering the elite contracts are making closer to $35-50m per year... That's a middle of the pack contract for someone that has a decent ceiling. Not a bad deal at all if you're a desperate team. You just have to expect the low floor when you first get him lol.

Watching him on Sunday, he's a deer in the headlights because their oline is awful and I didn't see to many 3 step and get rid of it play. Dropping him back after the first few plays the rush was getting to him in a hurry and no QB is going to play well then.

I don't think they're going to trade him. They're going to give him a seat on the bench and give him a break. I don't think Hurts is going to do much better, there is a lot more wrong with that team than the QB.

I think a team like Indy could throw a third at Philly and probably receive a draft pick in return. Reich is probably the one that knows how to fix Wentz and he has 2 yrs to do it or he gets cut and doesn't cost them any cap space.
