Just signing these 3 players would drastically change our team giving us more options to choose from with our draft picks

As of right now, around $15.9 million give or take 1/2 million. But that number will be subject to guys currently on roster who will likely be let go, as well as resignings. So safe bet is $10 million, this accounts for the rookie pool.

looking at our cap and players we should cut we could easily have over 30 million in cap space

Justin Houston is going to cost way too much. Not to mention, we're going to have to eventually pay Ryan Kerrigan big dollars. Too much to spend for another pass-rusher. I'll take Bryan Bulaga. If we get him, it really changes our draft plans. The same would go if we get Mike Iupati. I honestly believe if we get one of those guys, we're likely to get the BPA, then.

a while back i looked at the free agent list. iupati and bulaga were also my top guys. allen usually waits forever to sign guys so all the top guys will be gone before we make an offer. but by doing this we should get some good deals on players.

waiting to sign players is sometimes ok but it backfired on us and we don't have a good enough team to only look for decent players

I'm not saying we should make a big splash signing players like Suh but if our big splash is signing Iupati and Bulaga then hell yes do it

I just don't see big names like these guys being signed. I loved Bulaga when he came out and he has lived up to it. Even with his injury the Pack will sign him back. It's just not our style to jump in early and sign a big name, and for that I'm glad

As for cap space I kind of hate it when we say Team X has 20 mil in cap space but Team Y has only 12. Well Team Y may have 45 guys already signed and Team X may still need to fill out their roster. So cap space alone doesn't mean that much
