There's a pretty scary potential for the Dodgers' starters to get absolutely shelled this weekend.
Friday, 5:10 p.m.: Mike Bolsinger vs. David Hale (SportsNet LA)
Saturday, 5:10 p.m.: Brett Anderson vs. Kyle Kendrick (SportsNet LA)
Sunday, 1:10 p.m.: Alex Wood vs. LHP Chris Rusin (SportsNet LA)
Mike Bolsinger is pitching on 4-days rest, so that's scary. None of the Dodgers' starters are known for being able to blow hitters away with velocity and breaking pitches always seem to suffer at the higher altitude.
Awesome note: Saturday is slated to be Brett Anderson's 30th start of the season. Can we get some love for our boy? He's going to get a huge payday this winter, I guarantee it. I hope it's not from the Giants. He'd be an amazing fit for them so yeah it'd be way better for that to not happen. Anyways, I'm proud of him and what's he's done for the Dodgers this year. I wouldn't mind seeing him back in blue next year. I also wouldn't mind getting a draft pick from a qualifying offer.
