No, this has nothing to do with Jackson Browne.


Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla, who is hitting .186 and leading the National League in strikeouts, has been placed on the 15-day disabled list so he can have Lasik eye surgery.
The Braves, who hold a commanding lead in the NL East, expect to have Uggla back before the playoffs start.

The #Braves have placed Uggla on the DL to undergo LASIK surgery. The club has wanted him to undergo this procedure since Spring Training.

Uggla's eye doctor was in the dugout during batting practice yesterday. Uggla has had trouble gaining consistent vision with contacts.

Sounds good to me, get it fixed and be ready for the playoffs. I like having Pastornicky at 2nd anyway having the division lead the Braves have. Really good D and a better than Uggla bat (avg. wise anyway) will be a nice change at 2nd.
