Also, don't underestimate our two best players scoring goals tonight. Good for their Psyche, and when they're hot it takes pressure off everyone else.

First time all series we were physical, and I mean consistently physical. Line 4 has been our best all series. Bernier in my opinion has been our best player all series, he has been doing it all. The game was 4-0 but that was Marty's game. What a bounce back for him. He made a couple of crucial saves when the game was still close.

Also, I stand by my Harrold bashing. This isn't some 21 year old we're talking about. Guy was horrendous tonight, caught pinching leading to odd man rushes on multiple occasions. Kovy was bad despite the goal, Zubs and Zids were pretty bad, A-Train had more than 1 awful turnover.

I liked Greene, Gionta, Bryce, and the 3rd line wasn't pretty decent.

I completely agree we need to play that physical game.As for Harrold I still don't comprehend hw he is playing over Larsson

I wonder if Larsson's lower back injury actually means he has a concussion that wasn't diagnosed properly (wouldn't put it past our inept medical staff). Only logical reason for him not playing. Especially if he's going to be our franchise defenseman and the future of this team he needs to get experience now so that when he's in his prime he is a beast.

Great all around team effort... and Yes Marty was great... lets hope they learned from games 2 and 3 (and even 1) and dont take this team lightly anymore... come out and play like that... 60 minutes and we got this in the next two... lets wrap it up back at home in 2 games....

Great win GO DEVILS

Gio Jr set the pace in the first period with putting his little body on the line to make hits. He will be even better than this brother. I hope Lou doesnt package him in a trade.

He really did look his "old" self. Playing pucks even with stupid trapezoid, challenging shots while looking thoroughly calm about it. Something every goalie WANTS to do. No flopping or stacking pads. Just stopping shots, playing loose pucks and controlling and covering up rebounds. Vintage 30. One thing Ive noticed Marty hasn't done as much recently is covering loose pucks and drawing whistles.

I bet they'll get the day off tomorrow, but I wish they'd have a practice. They can still do the optional morning skate day of game.

Nice game. Special teams huge....Florida probably scores 1ppg here on out. Bet if they played 60mins in game 3 this would've been the final score too. Just keep the pressure up

I read somewhere that Marty now has more playoff assists than Avery.
About Gionta, yea where the hell was this guy all this time? He was a spark plug out there. He hit everything in sight and cleanly in order to not be some penalty. Only downside was that empty net he missed. That could have turned out to be a turning point but thankfully didn't.

I think I rather face Theodore next game. Clemmensen's style seems to give the Devils trouble early on.

Gionta throwing that big hit early in the game really set the tone. It caught the Panthers off guard, the crowd went absolutely nuts, and you know the Devils had to get fired up from that. Not to mention the pass he made to himself to clear the zone and then carrying it up ice to setup the Bernier goal.

I think physical play is what will win this series for us. I don't think Florida has the players to answer if we kick the crap out of them.
