I think you just made the post of the day......Not sure if it's Caldwell or the OC but Stafford does in fact resemble Trent Dilfer this year.

I know, strongest arm in the league... Let's throw two yard passes! Stafford sucks balls this year. Dude is clearly 100% dependent on Megatron being on the field.

Stafford does any year, or game when CJ isnt there. When CJ is out Stafford is a bottom 10 QB in this league.

The only decent completion of the day was the ball getting trapped between Ross and the CB's body because he was in such tight coverage. I don't know WTF Stafford is supposed to do when there is nobody open at all. If the OC would at least help out a bit and scheme some guys open, maybe then you can blame him. But just like under Linehan, they just have these guys that wouldn't even make other teams practice squads go out there nd run normal routes.

Lombardi still sucks at playcalling. Reggie needs to catch passes in space not take handoffs. There are ways to get receivers open. If Stafford keeps having to throw short then we are fucked.

I am speaking of this game and this year. And every game and every year. Once CJ is out the Lions don't and haven't had dick for WR's who can get open. Blame Stafford if you want, I'm beyond caring what idiot fans think, but at least tell me what you want him to do? In this thread I see people complaining that he is dumping the ball off to Bush, and complaining when he tries to force the ball into their only decent WR and it gets picked. If nobody is open, you don't want him to dump it off, and you don't want him to force something to happen on his own, what do you want?

IMO that pick was him trusting his arm and trying to get the offense going. The DB made a pretty awesome diving pick there that he almost lost and somehow didn't touch the ground.

for starters dont force the ball to tate when he has 2 saints standing in front of him.

you can review tape from any game. Stafford has open receivers on a lot of plays. He doesn't look at them. Or he looks past them looking for a certain player. He needs to start seeing the field.

I don't know, I watch QB's like Peyton and Aaron Rodgers who actually make the players around them better and "throw receivers open". Instead of Staffy who the GM has spent countless top draft picks to make him better.
