Your edge I feel is a bit based more on 1-1 comparisons, rather of how their play can be countered. McHale is a beast in the post, but when you have Eaton to double because of Wallace as a non-threat, it negates a lot of his greatness. Alternately, you couldn't really say the same for Bosh being able to bring McHale out on the perimeter.

From a 1-1 perspective of course the biggest edge lies with Kareem. But again with Rodman being able to double because of another non-threat, it at least causes disruptions to Kareem. Basically you would want to challenge Jones to beat you on the defensive end. Offensively, there's not much the opposition can do to counter the Dr. J, Pierce matchup, which is why I said it was the biggest edge.

I think what is being ignored with my team is that I have tremendous passers up and down the roster at almost every position. My team's ball movement would be amazing. Yes, I have a couple defense only guys, but I also have zero ball stoppers. I don't think there is another team that can say that. My pieces would fit very well, so if this game is being diminished to 1 in 1 matchups, that is a bit frustrating for me.

West over Wade is a pretty big edge, IMO.

Hmm...I see an edge for West but I don't see it being huge. Both great defenders, Wade underrated. Athleticism is both there, favors Wade. Both all-around great players, you can't go wrong. Both could score the ball at will in their prime, just Wade did it against better competition. I think what helps both of them is having a great scorer alongside with Pierce and Erving. Erving has huge edge I just felt like KAJ had a huge edge too, so it was hard to make a decision. Either way, like I said, it was so close it could go either way like a lot of these matchups in this particular NBA draft.

I definitely noted that in your 1/3 matchup. Lots of play makers on your team to facilitate an offense.

His 2-3 positions are his strongest and arguably are my weakest, at least from a defensive standpoint. I would of had to make changes to my lineup. I barely scraped by winning against Wlk, Mebert and UK so really there were about 5 teams or so that could have won this whole thing.

Bill Walton was a defensive player of the year and one of the greatest team defenders of all time before he started breaking down. Nobody can guard Kareem, but Walton slows him down a whole lot more than Pierce does on Erving. Plus, he has Rodman to help. Again, I just don't get the logic.
