I am not surprised that Salty is going on the DL with an "injury". It was either that or he gets released once Ender was reinstated.

The Dbacks were also able to sign Wesley Rodriquez. A 12th round pick who many had as a top 5 round talent & possibly as a 2nd round pick, but fell to the 12th round due to sign-ability concerns out of high school.

The kid has a ++FB that tops out around 97-99. Looks like a BP arm at the moment.

It's still a great signing all things considered.

I forgot to mention he will have TJ surgery soon.

I am not sure if any followed the minor league home run derby or IL vs. PCL game but peter O'brien killed. He finished second in the derby and had a home run in the other game. It would have been the winner but the international league scored 3 in the ninth to win.

By the way, we signed Brandon League to a minor league deal today.

We really need to move Hudson or Reed/Hernandez/Stites to the closer role to free up Ziegler for situations like the one we just had.
