I assume the PPV alone would nearly make up for the 100M Floyd seeks. This would garner much more hype than anything in his life, including that Pacman debacle.

I would love for this to actually happen but it's never going to. Mayweather would get knocked out in the octagon and there's no real point for McGregor to get into the boxing ring.

You're insane if you think MacGregor has even a slight shot at beating Mayweather in a boxing match. Zero chance. Less than that. Andre Berto had a much better chance of beating Floyd than Conner MacGregor. With that said, Mayweather has no need to fight him either. He's retired. He's sitting on his hundreds of millions of dollars. He's got his own promotional company with other people making money for him now. And he could come out of retirement against anyone he wants and he'll make another hundred million.

This fight has zero chance of happening with Dana White involved. He's got too much invested. If MacGregor gets beat too badly it reflects on his whole sport. Plus he's used to running everything, just look at the way he's trying to set the absolute terms here. They're obviously not even negotiating yet, but they're literally hundreds of millions apart.
