His drop back mechanics are probably the worst in the league. Cutler likes to throw off balance a lot too which is why his completion % is usually pretty low. Overall, I'd say he's overrated in the media but most people I talk to in every day life make fun of him, but then again I live in Wisconsin.

I think his talent is off the charts. He's got a very strong arm and good mobility. The problem is the mental aspect of the game seems to be too much for him. And as someone else mentioned, his mechanics are terrible. He's got no pocket awareness, he locks onto receivers, and he forces passes that he has no business throwing.

His talent level will allow him to have games where he looks like the best qb in the league, but all of his other issues will never allow him to consistently play well.

Whatever potential Cutler may have had, Lovie and Angelo destroyed it. Putrid o-line and terrible receivers the first few years here have him seeing ghosts.

The o-line is back to sucking, and the rest the team packed it in weeks ago, which makes em' look even worse.

I want the brass terminated first and foremost. Emory, Trestman, Tucker, Kromer, Decamillas all gotta go, and if I could afford a hitman, the fucking McCaskeys would be on that list too.

This doesn't matter, kid needs to grow up, OC comes out and makes negative comment about him, big deal, your an NFL QB it comes with the job. Can't take the finger pointing fine Walmart is looking for baggers...

It's never his fault, it's always someone else fault there not winning, he has never taken blame for anything, and it all starts with him, he needs to see he's not a top QB, hell of an arm, but his lack for trying to learn to get better so he can be an elite QB is his downfall...

Reporters may have been late/disinterested because they have covered enough Jay Cutler press conferences to know this dude wasn't going to show any emotion, say anything, promise anything, change anything. He is who he is, a born loser who is crushing the Chicago Bears franchise just like some of us predicted he would.

That said, I agree the #1 problem with the Bears is ownership and front office, followed by the fact that a once legendary defensive franchise is positively toothless on the defensive side of the ball. Everything else bad stems from that.
