This is really captivating. It's a take on the King Arthur legend with a female lead. If you are into GOT or Last Kingdom It's worth a shot.

So they take a well known fictitious legend of a man with impeccable honor as the one true king who was chosen to wield the sword into a black guy who stole the sword from a woman and somehow this isn't being called out as racist? Seems prime for cancel culture.

I've been loling my way through this dumpster fire with the wife. I think we're on episode six? I don't know. I hope it ends soon.

The season finale is excellent. If it's not your thing that is fine but I really liked it.

I've just always been a King Arthur buff and A LOT of this doesn't mesh with the accepted narration. I like different takes on it (especially the grittier side of it like Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Chronicles) but even those usually circle back in explanation of the original story. They've just made some very odd choices in this variation that makes it hard to take seriously.

I’ve gone back to it twice now. I just can’t get into. I tried though.
