Ajayi by a lot.

He took almost every touch in the 2nd half and has a good matchup against TB. Crowell, on the other hand has a dicey matchup and is in just as much of a timeshare as Ajayi (perhaps more).

Ajayi is the better back on the better team.

Ajayi looks like the right guy to start, but personally I just don’t trust the Eagles to feed him, they are a bit like the Pats in that regard. So I’d go with my gut and start Crowell myself. Course my “gut” has let me down on occasion.

Last week they started to feed Ajayi late in the game and he performed. i think they continue with that trend. I am starting him everywhere.

Both got 40% of snaps. Thing is I feel Jets are more consistent about snaps then the Eagles who are willy nilly about who gets snaps based on last season.

He did. Guess getting burnt last year after Ajayi got traded to the Eagles but was stuck in a committee has left me leary. First game was a committee, but Peterson wants the world to know that’s changed, color me skeptical.

To be fair, Ajayi's practice participation before week one was not "full". It is now, plus, no Sproles this week.

I like Crowell too though... anybody even contemplating benching DJ?

Would not do that. DJ may not get a lot of running space vs the Rams, but he'll catch a bunch of passes and in open space could rack up some yardage.

Well nobody even said the most obvious reason to start Ajayi is that Darren Sproles isn't playing so all of those snaps are up for grabs as well.

I would consider benching DJ.

But only if my other starters were Conner and Mccaffrey and I couldn't play more than 2.

AZ going to get blown out. But you simply can't bench DJ for a 50% RB on a mediocre team.

Traded Fitzgerald and Crowell for Hilton and Penny. That solves that.
