finding an accurate long kicker is the bitch. I wouldnt cut Maher for next season. he has shown potential. He has a very good record over 50 yards.
Could be a mechanics thing that can easily get fixed. or it could be a mental thing that isnt easily fixed.

I would bring in competition in the offseason, but I would let him compete to make the team again next year. In a year most kickers has been struggling.

He isnt Money that Bailey was before his injury, but we definitely could do worse! have you guys looked at kickers around the league? his 1st year in the NFL. I am willing to let him grow. bring in competition, & if it is close you keep him.

It is not about the stats. Its when you miss. Like the texans game and the one today. It is making them when they truly count. He is not clutch and misses too many easy ones. Do you have confidence he will make a game winning kick?? No way.
