Certainly nothing funny here:

I hope the Jenners are able to find peace someday. Mrs 43 and suffered the loss of two, but never got as far as stillbirth. I can't imagine what that does to a person.

Yeah, my wife and I went through a miscarriage when she was about 7 weeks pregnant, but that's not even in the same ballpark as a baby being stillborn. That's something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

i honestly just had a PTSD moment of a women I embalmed that was autopsied.
I was not informed that she was pregnant at the time of death and baby died with her but they left her inside her mom and I discovered a full term baby when I performed my embalming. I apparently have not recovered from that moment.

all my thoughts for their family

Bean blocked a shot and probably broke an ankle.

Tarasov got kneed in the face by Jiricek who was trying to stop one of the Islanders from doing it.

Merzlikins has the flu that has been going around. Johnny and Nylander have both also had it and missed games.

So we got that going for us, which is nice.

Interesting because most of the narrative I've heard over the last couple of weeks or so regarding the Coyotes is that the fans in Arizona shouldn't be blamed due to the fact that the on-ice product hasn't been very good. That doesn't seem to deter the fans in Columbus :noidea:

that is really good to hear. Hopefully they can figure out a formula in the summer.. I would imagine D and G are your priorities?
GM and coach are priorities.

D needs something figured out in the sense that Provorov, Boqvist and Gudbranson are in the way and need moved. Jiricek is just about there, Ceulemans has looked good in the A and Mateychuk had a killer year in the WHL and is NHL ready. And that's not counting Svozil and Christiansen who have shown progress.

The G situation is kind of odd. Elvis seems to have rubbed a considerable portion of the fanbase wrong and has had a few mystery absences this year. Not sure if it's personality conflict with the coach or what. Or if he's had some long term issue that the team is covering for like long COVID or emotional fallout from Matiss' death. He's been way better this year than last, so the goalie coach is working. Issue for Elvis is Tarasov has also gotten considerably better. I expect them to try and move Elvis and sign a vet to back Tarasov up. Daniil has always been the future, I just expected another year or two before they had to make a decision.

In honor of tonight being Jeff Rimer's final game, here is the story of how he came to get into a scuffle with Pete Rose in Montreal in 1984:

I'm actually gonna miss the big galoot.

Luca Del Bel Belluz first NHL action was serving a too many men penalty. Then comes out of the box, gets hit with a pass and scores his first NHL goal on his first NHL shot.

He got the first goal before Rimer even tried to say his name.

Holy shit, his parents were delayed in getting there and were just coming off the elevator on the way to their seats when he scored. Doors opened and crowd roared.

They left Quebec this morning and just missed his first goal.

Bits and bites from locker cleanout day.
First, Boqy knows a curse when he sees one:

Kurls with some words on why his last team is a consistent playoff team.

Elvis knows. Problem is, most fans think he's the only change needed.

Sure Pascal, you can stay. The equipment manager just retired.
