Fountain City Blues
Love Everybody
Jaye Howard was put on IR today, and with Charles already first in line to return, his season is probably done.
2 straight Chiefs drives stalling out leading to 2 long drives by the Falcons the other way.As much as the defense has struggled against the Falcons, the Falcons defense looks a lot worse.
Top offensive grades:

WR Albert Wilson, 71.6
Chiefs receiving weapons take advantage of under-manned secondary
With star CB Desmond Trufant being placed on injured reserve this week, it was no surprise to see Kansas City’s skill players have significant success. TE Travis Kelce had an outstanding day, as he caught all eight passes thrown his way for 140 yards, and all but one of his grabs went for a first down. WRs Tyreek Hill and Albert Wilson also played well, as they combined to snare nine of 10 targets for 101 yards.
Top defensive grades:
ED Tamba Hali, 87.2
LB Derrick Johnson, 77.9
S Eric Berry, 77.6
NT Dontari Poe, 76.6
DE Chris Jones, 75.7
Eric Berry and Chiefs’ pass-rusher make life miserable for Matt Ryan
While 10 Chiefs defenders graded below 50 in run support, the unit did a solid job against a difficult aerial matchup. The rush was led by OLB Tamba Hali, who racked up a sack, a hit and three hurries, and rookie Chris Jones notched five hurries. The star of the game was without question S Eric Berry, who scored on a pick-six and the game-deciding two-point conversion return off his second interception of the game.
It seemed like the Falcons D really keyed in on the run game and big plays to Kelce were free all day.
While it was a game where Eric Berry and the special teams bailed out the offense again, it isnt really the typical story. Chiefs just had a TON of penalties and quite a few missed opportunities as well. The Chiefs passing game was actually working to a certain degree. Probably Kelce's, Berry's and Wilsons best games of their career.
Got to keep on winning. Everyone in the AFC chase keeps on winning. Next 3 weeks are Raiders, Titans and Broncos and they're all huge in playoff implications. I'm actually going to the game on Christmas so that should be fun.
