Both teams have had fantastic seasons

Florida Atlantic took some beatings against Ohio State and UCFacts to open the season but were otherwise mostly dominant in C-USA play. Problem is Lane Kiffin has left, and there's several suspensions so they're a little shorthanded

SMU had a fanastic season even reaching the top 15 at one point, their only losses were to ranked Memphis and Navy teams, why SMU is not ranked currently I do not know but what a season they've had
