I am good with this. The numbers aren't crazy and now, even Dipoto must know, we can spend the entire offseason on bats, bats, and more bats. Maybe a reliever or two, but bats!!!!!! Not even Judge type bats. Just MLB proven bats. No projects, proven.Well I guess if near 1/2 your position players batting avg is hovering just above .200.
You have money to spend on your pitching staff ( because you sure as hell have not added a big bat lately )
Oh I am more than OK with the addition / contract also.I am good with this. The numbers aren't crazy and now, even Dipoto must know, we can spend the entire offseason on bats, bats, and more bats. Replace Marco with HancockNice!
Ray, Castillo, Kirby, Gilbert should be a solid rotation for the next 5 years or so.
Marco is a pretty good #5 but they could possibly upgrade there if they want to. Maybe a Brash steps in?
Well somebody is butt hurt
Agreed....and mariners will prob have everything maped..out..with alternativesI like it, they signed Julio long term and now Castillo. As long as there are more moves to come this was a great signing in my opinion.
This offseason will really tell us if the front office is serious about winning but moves like this are good.
