I'm predicting right now that if this game starts getting out of hand, Roidier is going to have a rage incident. It'll either be with the homeplate umpire over balls/strikes or the Cards will get frustrated and throw at someone and Roidier will suckerpunch someone. I'd love to see him get a 10-game suspension and have to sit idly while mired in a horrible slump.

Let me just say that I'm genuinely happy for Pirates fans. Seriously. I think it's cool to see them excited about October for something besides the Steelers and Penguins after so many years of mediocre baseball. It looks like a great atmosphere in what I believe is the most beautiful setting in baseball. I just wish your team would open up this can of whoop-ass on Cincinnati instead of my Cardinals!

Perhaps you could send out another invitation on our private forum and encourage them to join the political discussion here? I'll admit it: I haven't seen any either. This is a contrast to just about every other major league park the Cardinals have visited this season, though. Nice to see a football town get behind their baseball team.

Now, if only my baseball town would support its football team...
