I understand what Duke is saying. Being patient for the sake of being patient is not the way to go. Particularly if older 1st rd drafted talent starts to look elsewhere to play ball once their rookie contract has been completed. And it would be great to be able to build the team through the draft and only the draft. The issue there though would mean hitting on at least 5 of your 7 picks pretty much multiple years in a row. FA has to be an avenue used to build a team,

My problem is not really with Rivera the coach...its Rivera the GM running personnel. That is what will get him run out of here.

Not sure. Are you saying Moreland, Collins, Fuller & Fabian are no good? Disapointed with JDR so far because of the talent he has.

I am saying fuller is good , Moreland is unproven , FM has not been what we thought he was going to be and Collins is overpaid . None knows how to play with leverage other then fuller . Our lbs can’t cover, don’t blitz well and don’t run well (the starters ) . Good offenses will beat us , avg ones won’t .
