Death On Black Wings
Ok, as you know this is a stolen Idea for a thread. Wondering who would be the 4 Bucs that would be forever immortalized?
15 years ago, you would have struggled to find more than 1 Face to chisel out.
Lee Roy Selmon was one of the All Time Greats, its been said a Million times had he played in a place like New York he would be considered neck and neck with Reggie White.
John McKay would have only been up there as he was the only coach to ever have a winning season coaching the Bucs, that and he is Loved and Respected by the Fans, but hard to say his accomplishments deserve immortality.
Then who? Doug Williams, who won a SB with Washington after the owner of the Bucs said he would never pay a Black QB the same as a White QB? This is to Honor the Bucs players, not rehash the Racist owner. Jimmy Giles, a great TE but ca mon, on a Mt. Rushmore? Paul Gruber? A LT that never made a Pro Bowl?
But thankfully Tony Dungy and Rich McKay turned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into a Real NFL Franchise, and now we have Multiple people for consideration.
The Bucs Mt. Rushmore
Tony Dungy
Derrick Brooks
Warren Sapp
