What kind of play is a toss left in the NFL? C'mon Gruden!

I have explained this several times but I'll tell you again. When the Shanahans were here they gave Morris the option on zone stretch runs to get a handoff or a toss pitch. Morris preferred the pitch.

Earlier in the year they were only handing off to Morris on stretch runs. Apparently a couple of games ago the coaches and Morris decided to go back to the toss because he feels it helps him on the play. That is what kind of football play it is.
