I get it stuck in my head every once in awhile. I love the drums, though I've never attempted to play.

I play the drums on Rock Band. (That's my favorite instrument in that game).

I broke my kick pedal on New Years Day. I spent the week researching various options.

I finally settled between getting one of those real kick pedals that's been modded to play the game, as opposed to another regular replacement pedal. Because the real kick pedal ones will be a lot more durable, nearly unbreakable.

But they're also expensive. But, after reviewing the cheaper options, I decided I didn't trust them as much.

I just hope this works, and I can get good use out of it. I don't know how long I'll play the game, since I just have Rock Band for PS2 (not PS3 or Wii). And they are up to Rock Band 3 now. But I'd have to get a new console to play a new Rock Band, and I don't want to do that. I'm not as hardcore of a gamer, don't have the time. I'm also just going to be content with medium drums, as opposed to hard or expert. I'm 1/2 way through medium drums, having done 32-35 out of 58 tracks. So again, maybe for someone with my time commitment and skill level, a cheaper option would have made more sense. I don't know. I just hope this real one feels good, and lasts.

There were 3 different companies that made real ones, but two of them were out of stock, so I went with the one that was available.

Nyquil? I usually knock her out with a hammer or something. They say that comes with some long term effects and is prosecutable in Utah, but once she's 18... just kidding, I shouldn't even kid about that. But the thing is, I don't joke about dropping her, because that could happen by accident. A hammer, by me? No. That would have to be on purpose. I should have been more ridiculous by saying something like a bulldozer, something I don't and won't ever own, but I don't want to edit that.

I dance with her, read to her, walk and rock with her, pretend with her, ask her all the words she knows and animal sounds and the alphabet and numbers, etc. Some people just rock their baby as if the important thing is that they go to sleep. To me, the important thing is spending time with her - if that means rocking her, great. If that means playing with her or reading with her, she becomes more creative and smart and I get to bond with her more.

I have a Nuraman question.

Me as Nuraman: I know they bleep the swear words for the TV, but what about the kids in the audience? What if their parents wanted them to see Jimmy Kimmel or Matt Damon and were careful not to use those words around their kids?

I wonder if the joke was worth all the calls they will get asking if this is a real product or prank calls about it? It says it's not a real product in the fine print, but some will either not see it or will think it's funny to act like they didn't know.
