Bashaud Breeland continues to impress - Hail 22

again another good game from him .

there is also word he could go to safety

looks like we may have mined a good player here :suds:

I have heard that too. But he played CB in college, is playing CB well in his rookie year. Why screw it up when we don't have a better option?? Hopefully they will draft a safety early on the draft or pickup a good one in FA.

I think it is good that they might have him as a backup safety in case of injury, but he shut down Dez including the deep throw over the middle which showed he has enough speed to play corner.

I love this guys attitude. In watching his college videos there was one play when he was the gunner and got knocked on his ass but still downed the ball near the goal line. Shows his ego does not get in the way of his play.

Cooley gave him a 10 out of 10 grade for the first half and a 6 for the second half.

What I agree with Cooley about is our corners are young and probably best off playing press man. They did well at it against Dallas. Then did it for awhile in the Viking game. When they went to more combo coverage's the young corners get lost. I know most times people blame the safeties but often in those zone cases it is the corners not dropping into the right area or not staying with someone that they should stay with. I think simplifying the game while they learn is key. Don't we say the same thing about the QB?
