Peace & Love, Peace & Luv
Just read MAB sent down. A little surpried but it is a numbers game.
lilja will be the scratch pending everyone stays healthy, he wasnt gonna play, gust got sent down 2 days ago, rather they continue playing instead of not getting work
I would prefer to try to keep 1 of them here at 12-14 minutes. 18 was too but wa good for them to play the better competition.
ha but where? when?
timmonen
carle
coburn
meszaros
grossman
kubina
:eek2:
OUr new defensive line-up is vastly improved, but I would rather see MAB as our 7th over Adreas "the human pylon" Lilja.
I'd rather MAB get playing time instead of being a healthy scratch every night though.
Did Gusty get sent down already then?

Yea this is definitely true and I agree with it. I think he'll be back as our 6th next year unless we an sign some quality d-men on the cheap. Yes, Gusty did get sent down already. Was it just me or was anyone else not impressed with what they saw with Gusty? I think MAB was the better of the 2 even with some of the dumb rookie mistakes, he just seemed to be more what we need a big body who can play physical.
he was more what we needed a week ago, not so much anymore.
Gust 18 Games 1 Goal 2 Assists +8
MAB 39 Games 2 Goals 2 Assists +1
I'd side with Gust on this one.
Is +/- really a way to measure the 2 of them with how bad the goalies have been though?
He's prob 2nd guessing himself since the goalies typically don't make big saves if the team makes a mistake in the defensive zone.
if we are not allowed to blame bryz (and bob) for being bad because the defense is so bad, ya can't switch it around and blame the defense being bad because of the goalies. individually they all should be playing better.
