I don't think $7.2 is cheap for 60pts a season which is about what he averages. But I do think he has been somewhat of an underachiever for the tremendous talent he has so he may still have upside.

I still wish USA hockey had put him on the team last time out

Well atleast this keeps him out of Philly. I was pretty certain he was gonna bolt there after this year so happy about that.

thats going to be the going rate for players like that. in ottawa he is going to suck for sure. put him on a legit team and he will put up 30+ goals which is what your paying him for.

i actually looked at those stats and you are correct he does have more goals/gp.
